What happenes when millions of americans loose their jobs because companies and corporations move their manufacturing jobs to a different country to be able to pay the workers less and avoid high taxes to our government? Are they just being humanitarian and taking jobs to less fortunate countries who's economy is in despair and helping them?

It's not just that, but how big of a profit can they generate.
And with looser regulations in other countries, they can treat the workers as badly as they want

Thats What Happend To Me. Got Laidoff 2 Times. The Guy Went Bancrupt. I Never Even Got My Last 2 Paychecks.

The plant I was working for in July 2005 laid off about 20 people due to outsourcing. Some of those jobs went to Germany (Mercedes-Benz) and some went to Brazil (GM). We were not offered lesser paying jobs which we might have taken to maintain our seniority and benefits. After we were laid off the company hired through temporary services for the lower paying jobs they didn't offer us. Some of us had worked there long enough to get several raises, I was making approx. $15/hr, not a fortune, but better than $8/hr, where I started. To get back into car parts mfg. we have to start back at square one, lowest pay. The lowest paying jobs start at $8.00/hr. In 1986 (20 yrs. ago) those same jobs started you out at $11/hr. The wages have gone DOWN!!
If the maufacturers did not want us at the pay they gave us, they shouldn't have given it to start with. They DID want us, they DID appreciate us, but paying people who accept lower wages put more profit in their pockets. It didn't matter that we were dependable, did high quality work, assisted in improving their processes, with ingenuity and experience we were continually improving their company in all aspects. They gave us incentives and rewarded us with raises, bonuses and commendations! This is the thanks we get for OUR loyalty to them!!

I have never loosed a job for any reason. I also did not lose a job to outsourcing because there are no foreigners that are smart enough to do my job at any price.
