I'm looking for a music school in USA or in Europe. Also, for the school that will give me full scholarship.

As an accomplished musician, I realize this question is pretty easy. In order of quality, logical choices would be:

(1) Moscow Conservatory
(2) Paris Conservatory
(3) Royal College of Music (London)
(4) Prague Conservatory
(5) Institute of Music (Berlin)

In the U.S. (all of the choices being lower than the above)

(1) Curtis Institute
(2) Juilliard
(3) Indiana University
(4) University of Southern California
(5)San Francisco Conservatory

Hoping that you enjoy playing Busoni and Szymanowski. . . .

I totally agree with Nemesis. You seem to be looking for some kind of checklist to complete - evidenced by your saying things like "I finished piano". We are NEVER finished. A true artist will revisit even the simplest works that they learned when younger, because more levels of interpretation are always possible. There are NOT *specific pieces for the doctorate*. And even the achievement of the doctorate is no guarantee of a performing career, or successful academic employment. I realize that the British system ( which I now assume you are working under) is quite different than the American system, but end results are the same - you can be *educated* to the standards of the highest academic degrees - and still be only mediocre as a performing artist. There are no guarantees in life - this is ART, not science. Good luck with your future studies.

Yale is currently offering full scholarships for doctorate programs but you have to do a masters there first to get accepted to their doctorate.

You cannot base your school on a scholarship, especially for a DMA. You have to find a school where the teachers will compliment you the best. You have to find a faculty and especially a piano teacher who will take care of you. Just because you goto Juilliard or Manhattan School of Music doesn't mean everything will go smoothly. It's all about the best teacher for you, and an environment that will be condusive to your studies. The top music schools in the US are Eastman School of Music, Juilliard School, New England Conservatory, Peabody, Oberlin, Manhattan School of Music, University of Indiana, University of Michigan. But that doesn't mean anything at all. Certain schools are big on academics like Juilliard, Manhattan, and Eastman. Other schools like CUNY, and Stony Brook are big on performance. You really have to look past the money thing and find a school that is best for you.

Why don't you apply lots of places and see what school will actually give you a full ride! Also, don't just go to "the best" place. This might not be the best place for *you*. At this level, you need to find a teacher with whom you can work well in preparing for the many degree recitals that you will be giving. Talk to your colleagues, teachers, friends, people in the business, and anyone else who might help match you with a piano teacher at one of the many many wonderful grad schools in the US and Europe. We pianists are lucky that there are so many options for getting a performance DM or DMA. Good luck!

University of South Carolina. We have Maria Lomazof and Joseph Rackers, and Dr. Fugo. We have TONS of piano festivals and are always giving out scholarships!
