My mum used to take them for arthritus pain, good job she died before they were discontinued, anyway, apparently too many people were taking overdoses and dying, you only need six to kill yourself, imagine an elderly person living on their own, they only need to forget they have taken their dose twice and they are a gonner, plus they are addictive, you can get used to the effects meaning you need more of them, which would lead to liver damage, shame to get rid of them altogether tho, they were useful for cancer patients.

Overdose, liver damage to name a few of the reasons. There are other drugs like coproxamol that can be used instead. Speak to your doctor for more advice.

I don't know the answer to this one, but I am glad as I had such an awful reaction to these tablets!!!
Maybe thats why....maybe too many people reacted to them!!!

They caused a lot of side effects which were not healthy. I think it was blood pressure or heart, cant remember which.
