i think dog-breeding is good evidence too. all domestic dogs have common genetic ancestry, yet we've created breeds that are incapable of reproducing with one another by selective mating (mainly based on size differences) so, technically, that is speciation. All evolution is is natural selective breeding. It's not this bizarre far-fetched concept like creationists make it out to be. If you can take a wild dog and, over a couple centuries, make a poodle, then obviously life has the ability to morph over multiple generations. You don't need to go any further than your local pet store (or your backyard perhaps) to see the evidence that it's in life's nature to change and "evolve."

Is this a pro-evolution question (or statement)?

Yes, there are transitional fossils from species to species. They do actually exist!
