Drop hints. Take him to the mall with you and stop in jewelry stores and look at engagement rings. When you past by weddings things stop and admire them.

Tell him that you love him but that you can't spend the rest of your life hoping that he will marry you. Find out if he wants to get married and then go from there. You don't have to get engaged this instant, but have an honest discussion about it.
And remember, the two of you need to be comfrotable talking about things if you plan on getting married. If you are scared to approach him with this, then it may not be time yet. Get to know each other better and then reconsider.

Don't tell him! He will turn cold if you do.
You can drop himts that you are at a point of your life where you just want to setlle. You can be clear with him about wanting a seriuos relationship because you feel ready for that. He will get the hint and head out or continue with you, biut it's important for him to know that is on your mind so you both don;t waste any time if you are not on the same sheet of music.
But, by all means, don't propose him or tell him that you want to marry him. Please.

If you want to marry him, why don't you want to tell him? It sounds as if you are afraid of rejection or something. Sit down and figure out what your real issues are....if you love each other, why not tell him you want to spend the rewst of your life with him.

If you can't tell him you want to marry him then I do not think you are ready for marriage. There are going to be many twists and turns in a marriage and if you can't communicate with your man you will have serious problems.

Today there isn't anything wrong with the woman asking the man. If you're afraid of rejection then you know how the man has felt for years. You haven't said whether the marriage subject has ever come up...if it does, that's your perfect opportunity.

Just do it. I asked my fiance " would you marry me" and he said yes. I still let him know that I wanted him to ask. One year and one week later he did.
