I am a christian and I am sure there are atheists, pagans, wiccans, muslims, buddists, and more I just can't think if the names. Lets all say something positve to each other. We're all human and sitting at our computer (probably having our coffee). I'll start- I am learning alot about how others see life. I still think all of you have a plan for your life and you are on your journey. I hope today something nice happens that you didn't expect.

To everyone who answered my question today- thank you so much. I too had tears in my eyes. There is a saying "Kindness is the highest form of wisdom." I have always believed this. I hope everyone smiles at each other too. I'm feeling the love-T

Wow, what a refreshing post. You are a credit to Christians everywhere. I am not a believer, but I do believe that we should all be able to live in harmony together. Love is a beautiful thing and should be spread and shared. Thank you for making my day just that much more positive. lol....I have even posted a couple of answers that leaned towards the negative side today....now I feel bad.
Cool that if we put our belief systems aside something beautiful can be realized. All too often we are hung up on our own ideologies to realize that birds of different colors have positive things to contribute to our lives. It only works though, if you also actively contribute positively to others lives. Thanks friend.

This is a very good idea. I am an atheist. I think every religion and belief system sheds a little more light on the workings of the world and the people in it. I've learned a lot. I also like the morals and values religion establishes. I hope no one causes trouble or puts you down because of your beliefs, we are free to think what we want, even if others view it as wrong.

It's always better to focus on what we have in common than to criticise for the differences. We simply need to give others the respect we seek ourselves. Unfortunately some religious groups teach intolerance for different beliefs and the people who follow them. These extremists (much like Hitler) feel they're doing the world a favor by cleansing it of these "impurities." It's unfortunate, but it is a fact. All any individual can do is to act in a way that respects others and encourage others to do the same - which is just what you're doing. Brava! Good job.

I agree with you as well. I am a Catholic Christian and I believe that we all have much in common. Surely we can agree to respect and learn from each other even if we cannot share the same faith. But LOL for me it is night time. It is nearly 9:00am and I got off work at 6:00am. So, no coffee for me. I think we all have plans as well and let's enjoy the journey. Thank you for you wish and I wish for the same as well.
Peace Be With You,
Debra

You're a credit to your species. Brava.
I have always greatly admired those churches, synagogues, and temples that feed the hungry, shelter the homeless, and provide other desperately needed services to the community. They've set the bar very high with their selflessness and enthusiasm. I'd like to challenge my fellow Humanists to work even harder to rise to that level of service to mankind. Many of us are trying, and those who have set aside our differences with people of faith in order to work with them on community projects are proving every day that it's not impossible for caring people from diverse backgrounds to work together when the cause is just.
By the way, if you have never attended a Unitarian Universalist service, I encourage you to do so. UUs come in all flavors--Christians, Muslims, Jews, Pagans, Buddhists, Humanists, atheists, etc. and incorporate elements from all these diverse traditions into their services. They believe nearly all religions have something positive to contribute. What UUs have in common is a respect for each person's right to find and explore his or her own path and a desire to support the highly personal and individual quest for truth and fulfillment.

That's very thoughtful of you, thanks! Can I get a cup of coffee? Just kidding. So I'm a fellow Christian and I think your idea is awesome. I know you will get some nasty responses, it's just the way people are, so I wanted to give you one of the first nice ones. I love learning about what makes people tick, it's so interesting. I hope you have a wonderful day!!!

Thank you for opening up and spreading love in this world. I love to learn about different people and their beliefs. It really is a wonderful world. As long as we are on a spiritual path trying to learn and grow I think we are all doing just great. For the Atheist I believe what they think and how they live is important to the rest of us. They give me a chance to confirm my beliefs and also to question them. Life would be boring without them! Spread love and light up the world!

Well.. it's good to see some niceness around here. I saw one rude answer, but that's alright.
I'm also a christian, and I'm glad to see other open-minded people. I hate when people refuse to get a long just because of minor differences in faith (or lack thereof). I find it sad when religious groups have war or hurt people just because others don't share their beliefs... it seems like such a trivial waste of life.
So thanks for being open-minded, and thanks for encouraging others to follow suit. Hope you have a great weekend! =)
