Well, if I were on a date I would expect to receive red roses. But let be honest:how many girls do receive flowers on a date? Not so many, I tell you. Any type of flowers is welcomed on a date because you make a good impression in front of the girl and she get impressed. So, you should go on a flower shop and buy a bunch of flowers, any type ;)

I got flowers on my first date--a circle of dried flowers and silk ribbons for my hair at the Renaissance Faire.

My second flowers came 4 months later. I lived in the small town of Two Rivers, Wisconsin. My now husband sent me a dozen long stem roses for my birthday. There was only one florist in town and that was my father's best friend. My dad delievered the flowers and asked about who sent them. (I hadn't said a thing to my parents about Larry at this point.) So I had to have Larry over for Thanksgiving dinner.

But I don't think a girl should expect flowers on every date.

None. I don't expect flowers on a date. Maybe if it were a holiday I would hope for some though.

I really don't expect flowers but I would expect my favorite flowers (tulips). But also just some generic flowers like daisies.

I don't expect to get flowers on a date...especially since my cats keep trying to eat them when they are around (in the house since they are indoor cats).

Honestly, some men don't even bring flowers anymore. So if you do receive some. Thank him and what ever kind they are (as long as they are not dead) tell him how thoughtful he was.
