It was under local anaesthetic.

There is usually less pain with the upper wisdoms as they are easier to extract than the lower ones, I was getting back to normal after four days when mine were pulled, but you might need to stay on the Ibruprofen just a bit longer than that.

I had my lower one removed and it didn't hurt at all with the local anaesthetic. The guy had to break it into pieces with a hammer and a chisel and the nurse was holding my jaw. Sorry to scare you but it's the fact. What i answered for is to suggest that you get your other opposing wisdom tooth removed aswell at the same time. Coz i got my left bottom one removed and now my upper one is much longer than the rest of the upper teeth (coz it does not face any grinding)and probably will need to be removed soon or it will start hurting the lower gums. Infact have all wisdom teeth removed in one go.

Doctors and Dentists don't really like putting people to sleep anymore unless it's absolutely necessary. After having all 4 of my wisdom teeth not pulled, but extracted (removed from the gums) I was sore, but nothing you can't deal with if you have some pain killers. They will probably relax you with some gas and then numb your mouth up with Novocaine. I also had a Root Canal (trust me, MUCH WORSE) and they didn't put me to sleep for that either. But they did give me a large bottle of Vicodin.

Keep taking those T3s and you're good to go!

I was back to myself (with a little extra cheek jiggle) in a few days (4 tops) Never really hurt all that much

The younger you are, the faster it heels

Good Luck

I had mine out last year and I although it hurt during the rest of the day, it was fine the next day. It depends on how easily it comes out and how good the dentist is!

Couple of days.

And even then it's really not that bad.

I wouldn't lose too much sleep over it.
