Everybody is entitled to their own opinion. I think that because you are religious, you take some of the atheist comments too personally. Same goes both ways... atheist will take some of the religious comments very personally.
So what if they preach unbelief? Catholics, protestants, etc preach their own thing too. Don't be so biased.

Hey guess what? I don't have a message. I have barely participated in religion questions at all. Just because I am an atheist doesn't mean I want to preach my beliefs and push them on everyone else like some people do. And I am not hateful, everyone has a right to their opinions and beliefs.

I'm more agnostic, but can see the atheists' point.
Regardless of the form, the purpose is to expose you to other views and ideas. While a non-hateful response will be taken with far greater tolerance, we can learn from all opinions and statements.
You seem to spend more time looking at the words and not the meaning. Have you ever stopped to consider an atheists' view? Maybe once you do, you will no longer need to get all forms of answers from them.
A true Christian would wash this hatred you hold from their heart.

It's inaccurate to say that all atheists are hateful. Unfortunately, I'd agree that too many couch their positive message of freedom from superstition in what must seem to believers to be negative terms and frequently come across as rather mean-spirited. But so do many religionists, who are more than happy to place all the blame for everything that's bad in the world on the shoulders of nonbelievers, when really they clearly share a portion of the blame.

Hm, I don't really care that much about being an atheist. Sure it plays a part in my life, but convincing other people would cause a stress that I don't need, you know? I have actually answered very few religious questions (serious religious questions that is) on here. I like to consider myself respectful of different faiths. It makes me sad when people are disrespectful, about anything. I usually don't tell anyone my beliefs unless someone asks and is genuinely interested.

I don't think I am hateful in the least bit, religious people have every right to go preaching their beliefs to others, why shouldn't I be allowed to preach mine? you all believe in what you believe in and you think atheists are these nuts who just don't get it, who just don't see the light, as far as I aqm concerned I think anybody that believes in god is a little bit off. as of yet no one can show any of us atheists proof of god true enough we can't show you proof of the big bang theory or eveolution, but at least mine seems more tangeible to me because man is around to explain such things as evolution and the big bang theory to the best of their abilities, I will never understand how a man can worship and pray to something that they only believe in their hearts, it seems rather ignorant to me, when I see proof of god then I will believe, in the meantime if jesus died on the cross for our sins, which I do believe that he did die on the cross, I just think he kind of died in vain, we are all still living in sin anyways now aren't we?, I am not trying to spread hatred, just tell others what I believe to be true, with pretty good reason, and not only that to further point out that I am not a mean person, you will never hear me say to anyone that you are going to burn in hell, I couldn't tell you how many times I have heard that from a religious person, tell me that that is not mean spirited?

Just because someone believe that Jesus isn't God doesn't mean that person is hateful. In fact in my experience people who are not religious, believe in themselves to better the world. They are usually more charitable and compassionate than some religious people who uses God's name to make themselves look good. People who don't believe in heaven and hell may feel that they only have one chance in life and they better make the most of it to better themselves and mankind. No need for God to tell us to be good and do good if we were brought up right we will know what is right and wrong . But if you do believe in God or any other higher being then good for you! I for one is not against any religion. Most people needs structure and conformity to do good and be good.

That's like saying that all Christians are hateful just because they participate in wars and kill people.
There is no basis that any group is entirely composed of haters. Try being more objective. Keep an open mind. Live and let live.

If you can sit here and preach on about your bible thumping, why can't an atheist preach on his or her views? It's called Freedom of Speech, Pierre.
