No, I don't.

First of all, school was not created for "fun". Yes, maybe a dance or party every once in a while is okay for rewards and such. But what if students came to school thinking that they would have a party at the end of the week? I know that many people in my grade would slack greatly.
Secondly, every week? That is a little much. In our school we have activity period on Tuesdays and Thursdays which shortens our classes a lot. If we would create another day with short classes then that would be valuable time off of our classes. And if the party would be during the already created activity period then that would take away from activities such as Band, Chorus, Clubs, and our school's advanced education program.

Either way you think about it, the school would only be hurting the students and themselves.
What would happen at the end of the year when state tests had to be taken??

well, once you go to college, there usually a party every week. you just have to know whether the school is a party school or not. The one I went to, definitely a party school, even though I don't go to parties every week. but it would be fun.

Sounds like a great idea! But what about all the other kids that need the stability of a classroom and the one on one connection with teachers to learn? Sounds like there might be alot of kids repeating the school year if you do nothing but party all the time!

I think school is fun.

But as for parties, what does that have to do with school? I attend school to learn things and better myself, not for social reasons. but thats just me.

No you shouldn't party every week because you are their to learn. I feel they should some events maybe every three months, so you won't get spoiled and you'll have something to look forward to.

I wish there was but then it would get boring after a while. Maybe not EVERY week but once a while would be cool.

Something tells me the future of our nation's youth would be pretty dismal if they spent their entire school careers just "partying every week".
