Not really no, I agree that a lot of the people in the mental health profession may have had issues of their own at some point in their life. That is what may have got them interested in the field initially. A lot of people who are diagnosed with a dirorder start to research it, and this introduces them to the whole field of psychology, and may captivate their interest.

No I haven't, In fact, they are the worlds most mentally & emotionally messed up people I have ever come across. I have found 2 in my life so far that I like and feel that they contribute to my life in a positive way.

OK Thea's are questions of health not spelling.......some of us are still dial up.........lol
Anyway never have met on yet. I have seen many since the age of 14 and if I have asked most of them if they ever been in therapy.........yes was the answer.
If you really want to know do a research, it might be interesting.

I think everyone has issues - just to varying degrees. Unfortunately for Psychiatrists, they may be drawn into the profession because they have issues, or because it's easy to work on your own issues when you are helping a client, or maybe because they are aware that there are issues... who knows.
