Men use condoms for two reasons:

First, to prevent disease. The condom serves as a barrier to transmittable viruses and bacteria.

Secondly, to prevent unwanted childbirth. The condom keeps the sperm from travelling up the uterus to fertilize the egg, thus starting an embryo, which to some is a human life.

I recall being taught that spermicide would both increase the efficacy of disease prevention and birth control, but I don't hear much about that these days. Granted, we live in a very conservative Bible Belt community, where the local authorities promote "abstinence" birth control. So maybe I'm just not where I'll hear this sort of thing.

Condoms are for protecting both partners from STDs and from pregnancy. Condoms are not 100% effective but next to complete abstinence it is the safest method of birth control.

We can get pregnant if you use a condom, but we are more likely to get pregnant if you dont. The safest thing for a woman to do is use a condom and another form of contaception,. EX. the pill, the patch, depro shots.

yes she could get pregnant if you do use a condom, if the condom breaks than the sperm will still get in her and posibly get her pregnant...if it doesnt break i dont see any way the girl can get pregnant.
the best way for her not to get pregnant is to be using birth controle like : ortho evra pill or patch
