Picture frames and empty photo albums. They'll be making a lot of memories together!
If you can swing it (it isn't always practical), plant a fruit tree in their honor somewhere where they can get the fruit and the tree (and their love) grows.

I think that the nicest presents are ones that really apply to the couple. Think about things they like and go along that route. We got a nice bottle of champagne with champagne flutes, which was really sweet and would probably be nice for any couple. You can find champagne or sparkling wine as well as flutes in almost any price range. Another idea is to get them something relaxing, his and hers slippers or something like that, a cuddly blanket.

Frames are always nice for occassions. Especially if you are crafty ( or even if you aren't, but try) and do something personal yourself to a frame, like add names, date, etc. Go to a local craft store for ideas. They will treasure it because you did it, not an engraver. Maybe add symbols of things they love, like maybe they love horses, find a cool horse and stick it on! Or music, or...Etc, you get the idea!
