You know why they make cards? Say it with a Hallmark. Stroll up and down those aisles until you find the perfect card. And in that card tell her you'd like to discuss it over dinner.
If she is a friend, she shouldn't get mad, but be flattered. However, this does not mean she shares your desires, but you have nothing to lose by putting your cards on the table.
When you have this dinner, this is when you should tell her that you have been trying to avoid her so that you don't ruin the friendship, but that you don't want her to think you don't care. Just let her know that if she is not interested in you in the same way, you need some chill time to see if you can continue being friends on the same level knowing how badly you want her.

She is probably avoiding you, because you were avoiding her. Walk up to her and tell her how you feel. The worst that can happen is she will say that she doesnt feel that way about you. Then yall can move on to being friends again. Honesty is the best policy.

First, when I hear the word temper, I am inclined to run!
However maybe she feels the same way you do and cannot express it to you.
Just walk up to her and casually say, '"let's have a coke" or whatever.
She can only say "No", "not now", "later", or O.K.
Remeber that NO does not always mean no. So say "maybe another time".
If she accepts your invintation then work into your feelings slowly
during a longer period.

I'd say, take a self-defence course before you approach her. Be yourself but if she decides to challenge you on it be prepared to stick up for yourself. If you do win her over just know that a bad -tempered women aren't always easy to live with.

Sit her down and tell her you have feelings for her. That you would like to take your friendship to another level.....the worst thing she can say is no.

Invite her to go to coffee. While you are there talking, ask her nonchalantly why you two have never dated.
