Well, I did honk and this dude in front of me gave me the middle finger salute! How Christian is that? Why would he do that? Do you think maybe Satan influenced him?

I've actually seen that happen. My mother honked at one of those and the guy did the angry shrug and hand gestures at her. A friend of mine did it once too and was given the finger.
That's why my bumper sticker says, "GOD, please protect me from your followers"

The purpose of these bumper stickers is to force a view on as many people as possible. Not to locate those with similar views. People who use these bumper stickers on their cars are mostly selfish, or ignorant, and the bumper stickers are an affront to others.
Think about it. If the meaning of the bumper sticker were taken literally, since 80% of Americans are religious, most drivers would honk. That would cause confusion and accidents, which Jesus would not want. So these bumper stickers, besides being insulting, are self contradictory.
The only way these bumper stickers make sense is if the driver actually hates Jesus.

That's funny! Heeheehee...The middle finger wasn't very Christian though. The driver probably forgot about the bumper sticker, and thought you were honking at him for some other reason. Never the less, very funny. ;)

This atheist probably bought the car from a chop-shop down in Texas??? He just can't be bothered to take the sticker off because it will spoil the paint and he loves his car???

Maybe he bought the car with the bumper sticker on there and just hasn't removed it! Or maybe it wasn't his car. My husbands driving around in my old truck with a cowgirl bumper sticker...I'm sure he hopes people don't think, he thinks. he's a cowgirl...

It is just like the fish symbol you see on so many cars, just another way for the self righteous to tell the world that they are "better" than you. Sad.
