I am 22 years old, and I just got my first credit card 3 months ago, I have been paying that in full each month and will continue to do so, I also just got a loan from the bank for a car, which I co-signed with my mum. How can I make my credit score go up fast? As of right now I don't have enough credit to qualify for anything as I just started. Your advice would be apprecitated!

Ok well I got my car out like that to, and it won't show on your credit till after a year, so just pay it on time and from time to time send in a little more, and as for the credit card, don't use it anymore and pay for it for about six month to a year and then pay it off cause credit card are a good way to built credit but can alos be the worst night mare to heaving bad credit. and don't ever take anything out on credit that you can't pay in cash. My brother learned the hard way. Well good luck and take care of that credit.

Trying to develop a credit rating too fast could give you just what you don't want--bad credit. it sounds like you are going about it the right way. As long as you are paying your credit card balance in full that is a good step but, personally, now that you have the car loan I wouldn't keep the credit card much longer. If you need the convenience, get a Visa debit card tied to your checking account instead.

There really isn't a fast way to good credit. The companies want to see that you can handle the credit you're inquired and in most cases that requires a year or more of paying your bills on time. Co signing wiht someone with good credit will help your score as long as payment's are made regularly.

It takes time to establish credit. You can't hurry it. But it can be destroyed in a very short time, so be sure you continue to pay your credit card bills on time or a little early each and every month. One late payment will set you back for another long time.

Try and pay your car note a little early each month-even by a day - banks realy like that.

If you can add a little extra to each months payment it also looks good.
