I've heard that humans have at least 2 guardian angels, and yes, 1/3 of the angels are cast out of heaven.
So we can basically say that there are millions / billions of angels.

I had heard of infinite angels in bible study but I cannot remember a bible verse to go with it. Certainly if there was a guardian angel for each person on earth then there would have to be around 7 billion angels in heaven. Which leaves me kind of wondering if angels are still being created as the poplulation of man increases. This is one I will have to ask my bible study and pastor about.

There are many many angels, all were not named in the Bible, but surely you heard about Gabriel, Esegiel, etc etc, the Bible refer to a lot of angels : then an Angel spoke etc etc.
Lucifer was the only fallen angel, he was cast out by God because he was jealous.

I don't know of any exact numbers. Infinite makes no sense, it's just babble.
Jesus did say he could call 12 legions of angels to save him from the cross. (Matt 26:53). A roman legion could be anywhere from 1000-6000 (wikipedia).
So there's evidence of 6000-72000. Certainly room for more. But, no proof of significantly more than that.

About 12 billion.
Rev 8:12 "And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise."
Stars represent people.
We are about 6 billion today. That 1 third of stars or people are today. Ofcourse, not all 6B are the 1/3 of stars. So, it is about 12 billion if you think about it.

It's just a really fascinating story. Try not to apply logic to it. I don't think they had logic in the Middle East in those days. Try Greece.
