Oh Brian Brian Brian... I've often wondered where my long-lost twin was... I've been thinking about posting a question very similar to this!! I really think these radical conservatives will be standing there wiping the egg of their faces and saying something like, they still stand by their actions because even if there is no god, there is still right and wrong and they were being morally right, blah blah blah...

But what does it mean to exist?
A lot of people think: Okay, if there is a God then he must live somewhere so why can't I see him?
But is that what it's really all about? Does Santa Claus exist? Those same people would say "No, because I cannot go visit him."
However, if you do an internet search on "God" or "Santa Claus" you will come up with far more hits than you will for your own name or even the names of most famous people.
So what is existence? If you were an alien in a spaceship and knew nothing about Earth except the internet, then wouldn't you think God and Santa Claus must exist since they have so many listings on GOOGLE search and Yahoo search?
In other words, just when is this magical day coming when you will "prove" that God does not exist? The answer is it will never come. There isn't any way to prove it.
So no one who "believes" in God has to ever worry about being "wrong".

Here are my answers to your questions:
Q: What if there is no god
A: Then I will have spent my life loving my fellow Christians, loving my neighbors, and loving my enemies, as Jesus taught me to do, in vain. I should instead have killed blacks and other lower races whom Darwin taught were a lower stage of evolution.
Q: and you made all these scarifies
A: I would have wasted my money on giving to the needy, and instead should have taken advantage of the weak, as evolution teaches, the strong devours the weak.
Q: protested gays getting married
A: I would have foolishly tried to protest self destructing behavior, knowing that of the 88 civilizations documented through out history, every one of them fell to ruin shortly after allowing sexual promiscuity and then homosexuality to become accepted. If there is no God, it doesn't matter if I allow my society to come to ruin also.
Q: gave 10% to your church
A: Rats! I could have used that money selfishly for myself instead of giving it to a local church to pay for local outreach programs and such. How stupid of me to care for others if there is no God!
Q: voted for a moron not once but twice
A: How did you know that I voted for Gore and then Kerry? How could you have possibly known that?
Q: blew up abortion clinics just to find out you did all of that nonsense in the name of something that does not exist?
A: Abortion clinics do exist, but you are right, if I had known there was no God, I would have been blowing up people ALL the people I disagree with, not just abortion clinics. (How did this person know that I am doing all this stuff anyway? It's scary)
In summary, if I there is no God, then I would do exactly as you say. I would never sacrifice anything of myself for the benefit of others, I would encourage sexual promiscuity and perversion, probably even participate in it, I would give nothing to churches or any organization that helps keep people from committing sin (like rape, murder, etc.), I would never vote for morons, but probably vote for Republicans instead, I would never limited myself to only blowing up abortion clinics.
Thank you for pointing these things out to me.

I know what Jesus has done in my life; I know how real He is. I have never blown any abortion clinics because that is just as wrong has a woman having an abortion. Two wrongs don't make a right.
I now what the Bible says about homosexuals, what they practice is wrong. I will show them love and forgiveness not hate. Showing hate is never going to get you anywhere. The Bible does say that marriage is between a man and woman.

1. There is a God
2. We all make sacrafices for something all the time..might as well make it count.
3. Read your Bible to understand the next two issues
4. Who voted for a moron not once but twice? I seem to remember one in the 90s...uh...Clinton?
5. Christians DO NOT blow up clinics or kill anyone. There may be some fruitcakes that do but they aren't true Christians...those people need therapy or locked up

First of all bombing abortion clinics is not Christ-Like (that's what I'm guessing you're referring to).
Secondly, look at it this way; I have no problem living a life of sacrifice morally, financially, etc. This is the life I choose because I am willing, and love it.
I think at the very core of it, is that if I'm wrong, nothing happens. If you're wrong though, it means life in damnation (absence of God). You stand to lose a LOT more not believing, than I do believing.

Do you know how many times this stupid question has been asked. First of all, if nothing happens when you die, YOU WON'T KNOW.
Second, don't throw those old idiotic insults out at entire group of believers. That is a very small minority who call themselves Christians but do not live the way Christ wanted us to.
You know what though, you may be right. Instead of living a life of sacrifice, loving others, and having peace I should quit believing in this crap.

First off, I know that I am not wrong. How could you possibly believe that this earth, our universe, just came because of some big bang or a slab of slime? It's absurd. Only a majestic, high power has that type of capability. And to tell us more about Himself, his Son, and Heaven He worked through different men and sent us the Bible. That is Truth, and I do not for one second fear that I am wrong...

``I would never die for my beliefs, because I might be wrong.'' -Bertrand Russell
...not that I believe in any of the things you mentioned... (I especially did not vote Moron in this past election) I do tend to believe that the Christian Right tends to be rather over-zealous. Supposedly we were given Free Will, but it seems that those Nut Jobs want to take it away from us and make us think and talk and otherwise act like them. The majority of the wars that have occurred in the history of the Earth have happened in the name of spreading Christianity. If there is a God, He/She/It is probably pretty pissed at how their followers are idiots.... on the other hand, maybe they are amused and get their jollies out of watching their followers destroy everyone and themselves in their Name.
"Lord, protect me from your followers."
No truer words have been said... it seems that Bumper Stickers have the best words of wisdom out there.
