What not to eat is equally important. Ice cream that has been open to the air can, and generally does, contain bacteria. Avoid it to prevent secondary infection. No red or orange coloured foods because if your daughter has secondary bleeding, it will make it more difficult to locate the source. No chips or hard food. Apart from that anything soft goes down a treat.........

You can try pudding, jello, yogurt, tofu, fresh fruit juice, mild soup broth, don't use anything with spices or herbs as they can cause an infection. Take care and hope she will have a smooth recovery. Oh, and of course there is always ice-cream and cheese, but not together ;)
