They're right - hire the wedding consultant. What they cost will be w-a-y worth the time, worry & money you'll save. I did mine in three months, working full time and stayed up until 2 or 3 in the morning every single day. I was so exhausted by the time of the wedding that it took 5 days into the honeymoon before I even felt like a human again. You're other option is to go to one of those wedding chapels, get a "package" and let it go. Seiously, hire it out - you'll be glad you did!

I worked full time and went to school full time and planed my (very big) wedding in three months. 11 months is a long time. Really there is not that much to do. Get the reception hall in week one. Then the church. Stay organized(you have to be to work and go to school) You can handle it. Or you could look into a wedding consultant. They are really not that much money. I sort of wish that I did so that I didn't have to worry about the small stuff.

I'm a wedding planner that specializes in custom designed weddings. It can easily be done in 11 months but you do need help. Hire someone, don't depend on your family or friends, you will want them to be able to enjoy the celebration of your special day and not be worried about if the cake or the minister arrive on time. Good Wedding Planners can save you time, stress and money. Have fun. Good luck.

Hire a wedding planner. They are totally worth the money! Then you can leave the hard stuff to her, while still making the majority of the decisions.

Elope. There are several chapels in Gatlinburg TN that take care of everything except your hair, make up, and dress (but they can tell you were to get it!) You can have guests too. I got married at Chapel at the Park and in my opinion, it was my perfect wedding.

Good luck.

You have to set the time to work on your details and decide what you want to do. If you don't make the time, it will only be your fault.
