Why do people discount the possibility of the universe always existing but then say it's okay that some God always did.
Someone had to create the universe but no one had to create God?
What kind of a double standard hypocritical response is this?

Why do people use the bible as a reference for truth? It was written 5000 years ago, about 70 billion years after the universe was created. It is a fiction story. The authors guess as to how the universe was created. They had no better explanation than making up God, to say that he created it. Just because the bible says something doesn't mean it is true.

There is nothing quite as self-assuring as having the absolute knowledge of the nature of reality based on a book written thousands of years ago by men who thought the world was flat and that disease was caused by demons.

I have no problem saying the universe has always existed.
God has always existed, the central and perfect universe and Paradise have always existed.
Space has always existed. Time, however had a start, the worlds of time and space are evolutionary, that means that God created them in a way that takes a long time to grow and they are not done yet. We are a work in progress, that's why we are so mixed up.
This part of eternity is young only a few billions of years old, next to the eternal universe of perfection which is ageless having always existed. This is difficult to understand, so most of us do not bother.
Does that answer your question?

Easy, God has always existed. He created the universe. The Bible says in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

It might be possible that both God and Universe always existed.
Or, the idea of God was created by people in ancient times - that is if the Universe always existed. Or, God existed since ever and he created the Universe.

If you read the first chapter of Genesis, it will tell you that God created the universe. So God was here before the universe was created! Either you believe it or you don't.
Genesis is the first book in the bible.

Everything we know of the universe through scientific study proves that there had to be a beginning to it. No one disputes that. So immediately your question is doesn't quite work. There is no way to study God or how He exists. It makes a lot more sense that 2 particles coming together out of nothingness and creating the entire universe that we know today though.

First of all, the Bible says" God has no beginning and no end, the First and the Last" Thats proof that He was here before the universe, so don't take it as being a "double standard hyprocritical response.

People say this because it is in the book of Genesis. God created the universe. God was always here. It's a hard one to wrap your brain around isn't it? This is one of those things the human brain can't comprehend because God has no beginning and no end.

Read the answer to every question a non-believer always ask to sooth their own souls.....God was the beginning of ALL....Genesis explains it all.
I do believe you believe in satan ? If so...where did you think he came from.
People should stop fighting the facts that God is real. There will be Judgement day, and there will be one day that EVERYONE shall bow infront of The Lord.
God bless, take care and wake up
