We have only gone out twice, I initiated it. Each time we talk for hours, he pays for the bill and hugs me/walks me to my car. He has told me, after date two, that he is totally looking forward to dinner/drinks or whatever we do next. We didn't knw each other before the two dates, although we emailed back and forth for a month or so before we got together. How can I tell if he is interested in more than friends?

I'm just trying to get the feel of the situation...when I hang out with him I feel like hes into me, but then later I question it.

aw! thats lovely! well, you need to learn to read him which will be difficult coz you've share a lot over the internet. he will kiss you. it will happen. it has to right!?! lol, i know its not much help, but when you feel like that about someone, they usually do too and he's probably just wondering the same thing. next time, give him a small peck to say hello and see how it goes, if he's not intersted, its like how you kiss friends to say hi. if he is, he'll know that its okay to kiss you

He keeps coming back and he's paying for the dates. He is interested in more than friends. He may have religious or just personal moral restrictions on sex - or maybe is just shy. He sounds like a smart guy not getting completely wrapped about the sexual part of the relationship too early. Regardless, you two now have a chance to really get to know one another without having a ton of lust getting in your way to make a good decision. Careful on this one, he may be very serious.

One other thought...are you certain he is free of other relationships? I have known guys to go out on these "dates" when another relationship is on the rocks and neither party has just broken it off yet.

Good luck.
