Yes why not? Everyone in this world is hung up on looks right? If someone is beautiful on the inside than that makes them beautiful on the outside as well. If everyone would stop thinking they are going to find a male or female model to marry than they would see that they may have someone in front of their eyes. When it all comes down to it and your heart beats the look part than you will be with anyone as long as you love them.

I have. Lots of times. Sometimes having a good personality is far better than whats on the outside. Remember, beauty fades in time, but a good heart never fades. Build up your character. Be nice. Be a good person. Everyone would notice that.

No, because if I perceived her as 'ugly' which is another word for 'unattractive', than I would not be 'attracted' to her.

If, on the other hand, you are referring about someone who is considered 'ugly' by others, but not by me, than the answer would be yes, although not really, since I wouldn't consider her to be ugly.

People who see the inside of someone, and love that person, then have their perspective colored by their feelings, and that person is not considered to be 'ugly' to them.

Example, I think that Julia Roberts is very 'ugly'. Her face reminds me of a skull with skin stretched tightly over it. But many other people, for some reason that I cannot fathom, think she's beautiful.

Go figure.

Why not?
Most of the time, its the guy's looks that attract me..first
But after a few senteces, its how he talks, reacts,makes me laugh, his sense of being the real thing, his genuinity that keep you hooked.
So, a guy would have to be goodlooking to stand out at first, but with time, aguy who was beautiful "inside" definitely has a great chance of several dates and more!

what is it with you and "physical appearance, and inner beauty"?

lets analyze why you want to go on a date.

1. you got attracted to her actions. (because there's no way u can find out if she's a bloodsucker in the inside)

2. you talk to her ,and get to know her better

3. if she is a bloodsucking ***** afterall, then most likely you'll leave her. at least i do.

so the best way to find a date for the ugly ducklings is a place where people appreciate you the most.

I can only take "ugly" to mean that there is no physical attraction there whatsoever.

If that's the case, then no. Certainly physical attraction by itself is nothing to base a relationship on, but it is an important component. Dating them would only be leading them on, and that's not fair to the other person or to oneself.

I hope you're not asking this question because you think you're ugly. If that's the case, chances are you're much harder on yourself than you need to be.

I've got standards. Trust me, I know it's not something to be proud of, but you can't force a guy to be attracted to a girl who just ISN'T attractive. Just about every male on the planet is as shallow as me on this, but I forgive myself.

However, I will entertain the thought of your question, and so I say, hypothetically speaking of course, IF I found something very attractive about a girl despite her physical appearance, then yes, I would give her a shot.

Looks aren't EVERYTHING to me, but regardless of what people tell you on the subject, they do matter by varying degrees depending on the person.

1. i have done it plenty of times
2. looks cannot b all u base a relationship on n e way because u can date the sexiest person and he/she can be the most triflin and craziest person u have ever met
3. i look at it like this the ugly ppl dont get alot of play so when they do meet some1 they like they do all they can 2 keep them cause they dont want to lose that person. on the other hand, a nice looking person can get some1 else so sometimes they dont stress over relationships.
