I've driven RWD and FWD vehicles in snow and rain, and know how to react when I loose traction. I now have an 01 Audi A4 Quattro and have no idea how it will react to conditions or how I should react. I did some testing in the rain last night, and the vehicle dynamics completely change as soon as the car starts to slip. I don't want to wait until the roads are covered in snow to learn how to drive an AWD car. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

The same as you always drive. Cut your speed if the road is slippery. The problem is you are used to altering your technique for different conditions. With FWD & RWD the handling changes far more than AWD. You just have to convince yourself of the truth.

You can barrel down the streetat 70mph in the snow, but at a common sense speed, the car will handle closer to normal conditions than any other.

A road test I saw on Deutsche Welle TV once showed that cars with front-wheel drive actually had better braking performance on snow than all-wheel drive cars. So if anything, you should drive an AWD vehicle more carefully.

Just take it easy on gas. When one of the wheel slips, more torque is sent to other wheels that's why you feel car behave differently. Also if your car has the traction control (ASR) it may automatically apply brakes to slipping wheel and reduce engine torque.
Another thing, the car may accelerate fine with AWD, but its braking ability is the same as of any other car, don't overrate it.
I'd definitely suggest to check you owner's manual it has more info on all features your car has, you can order it from a dealer if you don't have one.

Think of it as a nutral handling car in the snow.

Stop early, as before and accelerate slowly.

AWD will give you significantly better traction. But it is not a cure for bad driving habits.

Main thing to remember is that have to drive this vehicle with the windows rolled all the way up in inclement weather, otherwise you will get wet. Other than that, you drive like any other car! Enjoy!
