I mean some of them are just out of this world. Kinda like this one.. Alot of the questions asked, are so badly worded that you can't even understand what they are asking. Take a course in the English language. I know its a hard language to learn, especially the stupid spelling and grammar parts of it, but man, do something.

In Response to CURMUDGEON. You'd be surprized as to how my sense of humor rates among my friends. They don't tell me i'm funny for nothing.. I was hoping to get some good responses out of this question. And as for sense of Humor...I think you should take a reality check on yours... That's my two cents..

I totally agree with you. It takes me quite some time to actually interpret what the asker is trying to say. I normally don't attempt such questions.
The main reason for such spelling mistakes is because of the SMS language. Speaking of the grammatical mistakes- I feel they have not studied properly English at school. They feel that other people too have the same language ability so they just go ahead and ask in such incorrect language which people like you and me are simply not able to understand.
Your question is a very nice question and is WORTH discussing. If Yahoo! Answers had a vote for the Best question then my vote would go to you.
Thank You.

spell check helps a lot. I think some of the questions are serious, Some of mine are because I can not find a reference in my library or on the web. Most of us are able to look up our Internet resources quite nicely though thank you. The other types of questions are ones to put a point of view out there, to taunt or to tease some of you, some just to see how others think, some for education. And some just to see how squirrelly people can be driven trying to find an answer. Some folk go totally over board. So why did you ask this one? It would seem to be a serious question, but the details are a bit like a speech, almost a rant, Hope you actually bother to read the answers!
p.s. Use spell check and be careful of the caps key.

edit: doctor hand, the France page is in English too, I ended up on it once by mistake, it works the same as here, only the instructions and keys are in French, strange eh!

Why do some people ask questions that they should know the answer to? Like this one for instance.

You mean to tell me you really don't know why people ask weird and stupid questions? Do you have a sense of humor at all? Do you understand that kids have access to computers too? Do you ever get bored? Do you like not taking yourself too serious? Do you understand some people are wierd and/or stupid and will ask questions that reflect who they are?

What makes you think they aren't studying English? Isn't this a great way to improve your skills? Ask questions here? You get multiple answers and can see how the language works.

If I was studying French then I would seriously consider asking questions in the French version of Yahoo Answers. I am sure it would help me learn. But to French people my questions would look very weird! ^_^

that's not a very nice thing to say. most of the people who ask these questions you talk about want to make sure they say enough to make you understand what it is they're asking. sometimes, it works against them because they get excited; but you shouldn't be so obnoxious about people learning the english language. do you know their language? do you even know one word?

This sort of forum encourages weird questions, I guess. I definitely agree with you about the atrocious spelling and grammar, though. Its embarrassing, or should be.

LOL. You noticed your brother masturbating?!?! LOL. That should be the funniest factor I've heard in these days. I believe your bf used to be simply kidding whilst he requested you if it used to be gigantic. I do not believe it is that gigantic a deal.
