so we cut up a tube of toothpaste and theres no seperate division thingies to seperate colours but still even if you mush up the tube from outside - the colours dont mix?
why?

Oil and water don't mix. It's not difficult to invent things that don't mix. Probably the white part is a paste and the coloured part is a gel.

there IS a division inside the tube, just not one where you can see it at the opening, because the toothpaste blocks your vision.


Next time you empty a tube, you can cut it open and see how it works.

If you kept mashing it long enough it would. But because toothpaste is so thick, its hard to mix.

cause they are in 2 different solid states...one in gel form and another in foam form...they will not mix
