If you had any qualifications at all to mess with a dll file then you would not be asking that question.

1- take down shift on your keyboard
2- at the same time, right click on the file
3- choose open with...
4- choose "notepad" from your programs list
5- it will be opened, then edit it if you can, but usually its the work of professional programmers, to edit such files, be careful to prepare a copy before saving any change, because it may reason problem in your system...

Well, it's really very easy to do, however, there is a possibility that whatever program uses that dll will not run again. However; it IS your choice to make.
It is not suggested that you do that.

well you can. its just really hard and not too swuft. if you edit it you r changing the drivers for a specific program or peice of equipment. which in turn could mess more things up than you want too.

try resource Hacker, its free, do a google search for resource hacker 3.4, lets you edit .dll .ocx .sys .exe files
