why is it wrong for me to want to shed this human armor and be a animal that i am and can be the lust the hate the sex the blood the killing the freedom to bend the weaker to my will ahhhhhhhhhh...such freedom

Whoa, there, big fellah!
Society protects geeks like you from those stronger and more dangerous, just about as often as it prevents you from victimizing those weaker than you. You should be a big supporter of civilization.
Yes, humans are enlightened animals, but there's no "just" or "mere" about it. Enlightenment is a huge deal. Look around you! Celebrate your enlightenment.
And stop with the nasty fantasies or you will go blind.

That's why we have society--to prevent that. You'll find that even animals will avoid a member of their group which acts that way. And why would you refuse to be considered "enlightened"? I've heard of a few people who are at or below animal level, and I'm sure glad many of them are in cages right now.

Wars are made for human animals who want to give in to their baser instincts. We're animals but not particularly enlightened ones. Other animals (excluding our closest cousin the chimpanzee) don't kill their own species for the thrill of it.
