You really need to find a Fengshui master in your area, as in order to know how to enhance your luck (find your balance), they need to know more about your place of residence. I can tell you some things to help you out, but for better results you need to know placement, direction, etc.
Chinese lanterns placed in the west bring financial awareness and profitability.
Chrysanthemums used in the center, west, North-east help to activate a dark stagnant part of your building.
Pink spherical Dahlia placed in the west will help with style and profits.
Increase yang activities such as tennis, aerobics, running, karate, etc. Increase your intake of root vegetables, brown rice and fish. (It sounds like you lean too much toward Yin, so try this for a little bit to see if it helps.)
Fengshui doesn't really look to build up luck so much as it strives to create a balance. There are a lot of things you can do, but until you know what's out of sync, there's not alot I can tell you.

My mother was into feng shui ...she had a very badly placed Fengshui expert in her lounge, he was draining all my parents wealth, luckily I knew the cure for this problem!
