you need to install the cam's software( from the disc you must have got with it) first. Then, open the installed file and there should be various options like brightness, contrast etc..

My web cam setting are available on the cam's control panel
Also MESSENGER has several places where you can do WEB stuff. I have a GREAT cam however with BLUESCREEN effects.

Its all play and plug nowdays.....you just need attach the cam and it will start working.........
