His nails arent very long but he managed to get them caught in something and when he did he pulled his foot and when he did that, he bent his nail back. the nail is still there, he just pulled it back alittle. there was a tad bit of blood when i looked at his foot after it happened and his toe was alittle swolen, but since then i have been putting hydrogen peroxide on it and the swelling has dissappeared, there has been no bleeding and he isnt favoring it as much as he was. How long will it take for it to heal? Please only answer if you have had a bird before, or had this happen. Thank you.

if his nail is getting better leave alone and let heal naturaly unless your bird is in pain which then tae him to the vets so you can get something to reduce pain . nails on birds grow very very slow and shouldnt be short anyway as should wear away naturtaly rather than cut as cuting in the wronge way and lead to snapping of the nail
