does god make any sense?

in a world where crime, violance, brutality, poverty and inequality is growing faster than before, can the idea of a THEISTIC God make any sense at all?
dont you think the time has now come to abundon this theistic deity and try to use some other means of understanding GOD?

Yeah, - we should stop considering that God is a big Santa Claus in the sky, - solving all of the problems that we ourselves have created.

If there's a God, there should also be a devil.
Otherwise, there would be no kidney stones, war and the like.
I think it's more important to help and care about others then to say 'i beleive in God (or Allah or whoever) + DON'T help and care about others.

Three answers for the price of one:

They should provide them with a job. There's more then enough work to do. If it wouldn't, let other people work shorter. Even then, there's always something to do, like clearing up pollution.
Of course, with a job comes money. If one is too sick too work, yes they should get money, and get free healthcare. If one wouldn't accept that, it means he doesn't accept sick people.
Besides, i think governments should reduce the high differences between high and low incomes. If one wouldn't like that and want to earn more, he's happy to leave the country. Not that i think there should be countries: there should be no country boundaries anyway. We should all have the same rights, including where to live and work.

"why dont muslims speak out?"
Some do. They die, because of the murdering dictators. Subsequently, the more introvert people keep alive. That's called evolution.
Just as in: when i try to hit hundred flies, the faster ones will escape and will have the chance to reproduce. So, the faster ones keep alive.

Theistic god is not so bad. The will of people have a force too and theistic god is helping them to channel the will.

But definitely the real Creator of the Universe is not so sample as presented in many theistic writings and new approach should be taken in understanding forces of the universe.

God doesn't bring crime, violence, brutality, poverty and inequality to the world. We did. The humans that he created.
A long time ago, before the birth of Jesus, we did the same thing, and he destroyed us. What can you say.. we were asking for it.. and we are asking for it again.

But thanks to the God that created us, he gave us Jesus.. and because of him.. the world is free to know God is there, know his rules and ignore them.. until the day comes when we will be judged before him.

The meek shall inherit the earth. Suffering does not make us bad people. Inequality will allow us wisdom. Sufferrers of violence, brutality and poverty will better be able to handle judgement day.

God is your own conscience or the person within you, that help you take decisions about the good or the bad.

Religion and God has evolved as a concept to teach and guide people in their path of life. So if you believe in some God/faith/cult/religion you follow the ideals and norms of that organization. The idea of God provides confidence in your faith decisions and help you be a good person.

To understand that, you have to understand the concept of God. I know the God or being I believe in didn't create this world so he/she could rule it with an iron fist. We exist under freedom of choice. Everybody is born perfect, but they have to work to realize that perfection. Enlightenment is born from looking within. God is a faith who is present in yourself (Blood).Learning and doing good things gives satisfaction which makes you strive to do more ,which is indirectly a face of confidence,confidence is a source of faith .This faith is your GOD.When you loose confidence ,you loose faith,which means that you are deprive of GOD `s blessing,that makes you cruel.
