Yes, there is a Federal law against disturbing bird nests with young. All native birds, other than game birds, that can be legally hunted, are protected by the Migratory Bird Treaty Act and several other laws. Its against the law to kill birds or to even possess feathers or nests without a permit. These are Federal laws and are applicable through out the United States.

Yes, it is completely illegal...the Migratory Bird Treaty Act. You can be fined or jailed. Wait til the birds fledge the nest...nesting season is almost over and they should be out of the nest soon. DO NOT KILL them!

i'm not sure but why would you want to any way? that's mean and i'm sure the parents of the baby birds in the nest wouldn't be to happy.
