You would be now legally considered brother and sister! Morally, I hope that you would maintain the brother and sister relationship! If you took the relationship in a direction such as that! It would be a total disaster! Please leave those ideas, desires, and impulses alone! Find something else to do with your time! If this is truly a concern and desire for you - please ask your parents to get you someone to talk to - you don't have to share with them why - it would be best not too! Speak with a counsellor - not friends - that can help you sort out what's going on with you - it's o.k.! You aren't the first person to experience this problem and you won't be the last! Get the help needed to redirect your thoughts, desires, and impulses - but please don't act on the desire to be with your sister in your adopted family!

I suppose you can do anything you want, but you have to live with the consequences. Incest is taboo because as a species, humans don't want to have genetic defects amplified. In this case the genetic issue does not apply. Then there is emotional incest. That is the kind of incest you are asking about. And, if you have sex with her, and it doesn't work out (eventually you will probably break up) then what? You have your ex living right there. It can make for some interesting interactions at dinner. What happens if the rest of the family finds out? Have you asked your parents about this? If you are not willing to do that, then why not?

Not sure. Look at Woody Allen, he was the father of an adopted daughter and now they are living together and having two kids. His ex (Mia Farrow) defines the relationship as incest, but I don't know if legally it is.

Yu should start looking elsewhere for a relationship coz this family gave yu a home, their trust and hopefully their undenying love. why spoil it with something that only feels good for a short while but have a long term feeling of shame and guilt. yu just ruin something special.

Family is family.............adopted or not!! You know its wrong and are trying to find ways and means by making it right. You need help, a.s.a.p!!! Incest is what it is dude and if you are that hard up that you need to look at your sister in that way, you need to be strung up by your nuts!!
