Interesting. It all depends on the way people in societies view the status of animals. In Medieval Europe there were animal trials, where dogs, cats, pigs, donkeys, etc. were found to be morally corrupt, bewitched, or otherwise evil. They were often sentenced to death, in various ways.
I seem to recall a book on these trials, but couldn't find it at Amazon.com. But there's a brief article in Wikipedia (under Animal Trials), and the "Book of Legal Anecdotes" has a lot of stories about animal trials, including one where a whole group of cats were put on trial for being lazy and not catching enough mice.
Well, it all sounds silly, or does it? A lot of people are speaking about animal rights these days. But if animals have rights, then they have duties to observe OTHER animals' rights, too. So, you could imagine some animal trials under these circumstances.

Try telling the people of Hartlepool, England that animals don't get judged. They hanged a monkey for 'being a French spy' once. And the Americans, I believe, once executed an elephant who killed his keeper, by electrocution. Could be wrong about method of execution but it was either electricity or a hanging.

That's a great question...we can learn so much from the animal world. If we could dispense with judgment; the world would be a better place. Sometimes, I think it because they either want to feel better about themselves...or they are measuring themselves by another...through admiration...or glad they aren't them...and everything in the middle. It's a wonderful observation you have made. It gave me pause.

Most people see humans with disabilities and relize that it could be them. Seeing an animal it's not them.

because when it comes to human they don't have as same much affection
think it in another way, here in romania they've been putting poison in animal's food to die - it's a poison that really gives a lot of pain. so i guess they thought an animal suffers less than a human, ha?

I don't think people judge others with disabilites, it merely makes them doubt their own mortality.
