When the JPG or anyother type of image is opened in notepad or wordpad a peculiar text is displayed, I wanted to know whether that text have any information hidden in that or its just an artefact.

its an ascii representation of the binary code of the image. There probably won't be anything hidden in there for you to see. Almost certainly nothing intentional.

it's the code that creates the image in the proper program.
