Much like Darwin’s work was transformed into Social Darwinism, Einstein’s work on physical relativity was transformed into MORAL RELATIVITY. Society had previously had a constant standard of what was right and what was wrong. (Often violated, yes but the standard was there.) Moral Relativity changed the constant standard into a totally personal standard. Right and wrong became “shades of grey” or “Well, it maybe wrong for you but it is right for me.” Comments?

First, the accusation missed the mark.

How's Einstein responsible for MORAL RELATIVITY if it was his work in physics transformed for some other purpose?

Second, supporting argument is false.

There was no "constant standard". Even up to the 60's, colored people still suffered from open discrimination in this country. What kind of moral standard was it that did not cover basic rights of all citizens? Standards are only as good as they are observed.

Truth is people fail to pick up responsibility for themselves when they chose to see gray over black or white -- especially when free will is believed to be given by "God".

Lastly, the conclusion is muted.

Consider the kind of church and religion we are looking at -- both operating under self serving principle and threats, heretic would be more of a complement to Einstein because we are comparing moral standard here.

I don't understand you. How can Einstein's physics be considered heresy, if someone ELSE twisted its meaning into something Einstein never even thought of? Seems to me that the heretic (if that term even applies) would be the person who twisted the meaning. And I think the issue here is that you are trying to equate "moral relativity" with a theory that states that matter is a condensed form of energy. The "transformation" uses the name, not the principle, unlike the "social Darwinism" example, which is a direct correlation between "survival of the fittest" and a similar theme in human society.

Why are you soooooooo afraid of truth and reality?

Religion is the resort of people retreating or unable to cope with the realities of life. That is why they might see this as herrassy.

There was never and never will be a constant standard from any religion. All the worlds religions are minorities. The Christian religion is not huge.

The thinking world see these discoveries as an advance in human thinking and understanding of nature and welcome it. The religious see it eating away at the doctrine they trot out.

what the hell does this have to do with einstein being a heretic?

people have been wrestling with different moral codes for different situations since the dinosaurs ruled the earth! I learned yesterday that humans and dinosaurs shared the earth together. Isn't that fascinating? People on YA's told me this.

If you mean Einstein didn't believe in your silly fairy tales written 2,000 years ago he was certainly a heretic.

Although since you can't even spell his name correctly I seriously doubt you can even imagine his spiritual depth.

He was named man of the "century"!

You're like a fly buzzing around an elephant's tail. Shoo, shoo!
