Jesus next said: “You heard that it was said, ‘You must not commit adultery.’ But I say to you that everyone that keeps on looking at a woman so as to have a passion for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.” (Matthew 5:27, 28) You are not going to commit adultery? Then do not even start down that road by entertaining thoughts about it. Guard your heart, where such things have their source. James 1:14, 15 warns: “Each one is tried by being drawn out and enticed by his own desire. Then the desire, when it has become fertile, gives birth to sin; in turn, sin, when it has been accomplished, brings forth death.” People sometimes say: ‘Don’t start what you can’t finish.’ But in this case we should say: ‘Don’t start what you can’t stop.’ Some who have been faithful even when threatened with death before a firing squad have later fallen for the insidious lure of sexual immorality.
Jesus Christ pointed out that “everyone that keeps on looking at a woman so as to have a passion for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.” (Mt 5:28) But Jesus did not say that what was in the heart, but not carried into action, furnished a basis for divorce. Christ’s words show that the heart should be kept clean and one should not entertain improper thoughts and desires

In answer to your question, regarding Christians knowing and following passages in "their" book, I have to say that many of them do as they choose, believing what they will, according to how they choose to interpret "their" own rulebook... even while "believing" that it was somehow handed down to all mankind from their god.
So what I'm saying in truth here is that most Christians are hypocrites, hiding behind the most repeated (by them) scriptures found in Romans 8:1-39, which they interpret as giving them total freedom to do as they choose because of what they read into those lines, and ONLY those lines! Most of the remainder of their "good book" is ignored; except, again, as it suits them! Mostly to recite AT others, to make themselves appear as righteous and "holier than thou"! A very few do as they say...
Is it not both, sad and shameful? Few even understand what meaning is behind their memorized passages. They are like parrots mimicking sounds with no comprehension whatsoever. Polly "says" he wants a cracker, but is merely making noise!

Most people actually know the Bible's viewpoints on sex and marriage, but they CHOOSE to ignore them for selfish reasons. I'm sure you will enjoy the following series of articles on this very subject: * http://tinyurl.com/83hoa.

You are a hypocrite, all men have lust in their heart when they see a desirable woman. It has nothing to do with a sexual fantasy. And you now suffer the sin of pride that you think you are above all others.Shame on YOU!

Adultery- sexual relations between a married person and someone who is not their husband or wife. Maybe you should spend more time browsing through a dictionary than your little Bible.

I don't know...I ignore this verse Exodus 20:15...or whatever...more often than I care to think about.
Maybe it's because we're all sinners.

Your sin would not be considered until it is committed. Fantasizing won't make a difference.
