Keep everything off the floor such as cloths, towels, and new papers that would tempt her to defecate on it. Put her in a pen or small room such as bathroom with hard floor for a few days. She will have no choice but to use the litter box. Be sure to keep it clean every day. Gradually allow her more and more freedom until the problem is solved.

I used to do volunteer work at the human society and all cats and kittens are put into a pen with a little food, water and litter box. They always used the litter box.

She is expressing her dislike about something, if she had always used the little ox before.

Did you change the litter itself? She may not like the litter. Try mixing old and new together for a while.

Also the box might be too small, or too tall for her to get into easily. Cats are soooo picky!

Pick up your room. DO NOT Leave anything on the floor.
Call your vet & ask them. There might be a medical problem.
Keep putting her in the litter box. Sooner or later she will get the hint.

what proportion cats do you have? each and every cat desires a clutter tray for pee and a separate one for poo so in case you have greater advantageous than one cat you like greater trays. verify to make certain if the two clutter trays have been peed in in the previous she poos on the floor. in the event that they have the two been used then it quite is the respond on your issue. a lot of cats refuse to apply a tray as quickly because it quite is been used already. you're able to additionally attempt changing the clutter. A cat needs to scrape around greater whilst pooing so possibly the clutter is in simple terms too harsh on her paws. it would be as on the component to sand as achieveable and on no account scented. while you're using hooded trays then take the lids off as some cats discover them complicated to get soft in as they might desire to stand up greater whilst pooing.
