Don't jump into conclusions the guy enjoys your company and he trust you as a friend...am sure there is nothing wrong accompanying him to his parents.

if you can't come out and ask him i would say that your relationship isn't to the point where you should be boyfriend and girlfriend... ask him what he thinks... tell him what you think... be honest with each other... believe me it makes for a much easier relationship
