South Korean Foreign Minister Ban Ki Moon

South Korean Foreign minister Ban Ki Moon is most likely to be elected because he has the support of the United States of America and other countries who have the power to veto the election of any candidate.
Jayantha Dhanapala would be my next bet, the chief of Sri Lanka's Peace Secratariat because of ethnic reasons and his amazing experience in the field of conflict resolution.
In the thrid place would come Shashi Tharoor, the current under-secratary general for the U.N. His experience with UN functionng and proximity to Kofi Annan make him another likely candidate.
