Kenwood House on Hamstead Heath. Gorgeous. Pop the question in one of the love seats under the arbors near the house or down by the lake!

Take your partner for a ride on the london eye, pop the question at the top, overlooking the Thames. Later, celebate with a quiet candle lit floating river restaurant meal for two, complimented with a large bottle of champers and soft serenades of love from a musician of your choice.

Hyde park round the Serpintine's nice if you want it in a park. South Bank's pretty good but I'd recomend a nice restaurant (one you and your girl/boyfriend have been to before and had a good time/ memories. Better than being to over the top
