No, it's not too late to get him fixed. He will probably stop spaying but I can't guarantee it. Call up a vet and ask them, they should know.

its never too late to fix a cat in fact I recomend doing it before they reach a year old or at least around 5pounds... but unfortunatly in your case he or she will still spray after you fix it... not only because the smell is all over, but also because it now knows that it can... I fixed all of my cats when they were three months old. then I got one from a friend that was already 1 year ols and it started spraying so i got it fixed... it still sparayed so I was going to give it ti the humane society... two days later they put him down because they dont stop and they can not get adopted... good luck

No, it's not too late. He may still continue to spray for a while, as it takes some time for the testosterone level to disapate after neutering. If you don't get him neutered, he will only continue to get more territorial, and spray is the leasts of your problems. He will start fighting, and you don't want him getting hurt. You also don't want him out there creating unwanted kittens.

you should get him nutered anyways. there is a chance that he will continue to spray, but it is much healthier and better for your cat to get him nutered.
