Can I use products that are natural, or things that I will already have in my home?

I have used vinegar. This is suppose to help with the smell and stop the cat from peeing in that area. Good luck!

I highly recommend Natures Miracle. It not only gets rid of the stain, but also the smell...so the cat won't be drawn to that area again to continue peeing in the same spot. It's a little pricier, but WELL worth it!

Natures Miracle & Simple Solutions have a large line of products for different surfaces, they even have alaundry soap that per personal use works well.......you can get these online or at your local pet store, ie:: Petco Petsmart, etc etc

On tiles you can just wash it off with a good smelly soap, on fabrices, no alternative but just to soak in washing powder and wash it off.

You can either rip out the carpet or burn something for a different and strong smell.
