College. I so regret that I didn't go to college when I was young. Eventually I did realize what I had missed in not having a higher education, so I did go to college, and I got a degree. That education taught me more than the three 'r's; it really opened my eyes to the world around me, and helped me to understand better what is going on in the world.

I went to college and had a much better social life than many of my friends who stayed at school.

But you will probably find that at college you are expected to do more work off your own back. So if your poorly motivated it may be better to stay at school.

Very much depends what you want to study. For "A" levels you are advised to stay with school. If you are not happy with your 6th form, transfer to a local school with a better 6th form.

For "vocational" courses, colleges have much more experience, resources etc than most schools.

It depends what your school is like. If you enjoy it there, then stay on, but if you want to try other things, go to college.

It all depends on the individual student which is best

It depends where your skills are. Not everyone is college material. When you need a repairman, you don't care if he/she can quote Shakespeare, just fix the ^&*() machine.
