Yup.. agree with the above.. Stay on your meds and if they're not being effective make sure you see your doc ASAP. I'm bipolar and my chemical imbalances shift occasionally. Theres nothing wrong with updating dosages or even changing your medication provided your doc is keeping tabs on things.

If they're telling you to hurt yourself or others, then ignore them no matter what. Never follow their instructions if it would lead to anyone or anything getting hurt, or worse.

If they're simply talking to you, then think about the significance of what they're saying. What if those voices are trying to impart useful information to you?
