Not really... most boxers start training when they are like 8 or 9 years old. Plus, boxings a pretty rough sport. It's at least as much about knowing how to take a hit as knowing how to hit your opponent. You need to be completely comfotable with pain - both in receiving pain and dispensing it. A lot of would-be boxers find their major block here - that they psychologically hold themselves back from dealing a truly knock-out punce. Violence is a thing that humans, psychologically, have a weird relationship with. We are both drawn to and appalled by violence and others' suffering. Boxers need to be able to rise above both emotions. They need to be able to deal with pain and suffering - both their own and their opponents' - completely objectively and emotionlessly. And to be able to do that, you pretty much need to have grown up boxing.

So to make a long story short, it's probably way too late for you to start boxing now and hope to make it pro. At least, if I were you, I wouldn't quit my day job. Pick it up as a hobby, though - it's a real rush.
