I just wonder how many closet God haters there are walking around in the daylight or are you too afraid to reveal who you really are? Do you tell friends and co-workers how you hate God or do you only feel like you can be outspoken here and remain anomyous?

These people are not non-believers. People who hate GOD acknowledge HIS existence but cannot find answers they seek or generally blame others for their state in life.

I don't hate the concept of god...per se. The aspects of a godhead that teach love and compassion are fine.

I hate stupidity, blind faith, and the herd mentality. If someone says "god bless" I take it with a smile, because it's there way of saying take care. I make no secrets that I am an atheist, why would I? I'm proud of the fact that I use the brain I have to take responsibility for my actions. I refuse to give in to the belief that I'm wrong to be proud of what I accomplished, or blame an invisible adversary when I fail. I live in the bible belt, and debate with people on an almost daily basis. I walk away when the only source of information they can produce is a poorly translated book, or when they prove that they ignore the whole book, and only use what they want. Worse still are insufferable idiots who look down their noses from an anonymous standpoint, reeking of one of the sins in their damnable book...righteousness.

Oh yes I tell everyone how silly it is to believe in magic being who is supposedly going to grant their "hearts desires" when two or more are gathered in his son's name through the silly notion of prayer. I have no problem telling anyone 24/7. But just for the record, I don't really hate god, because I don't believe that there is such a thing. No what I really hate is his so-called people who try to shove their stupid beliefs down the rest of our throats.

I don't hate God. I don't see why anybody would hate God?

Either you believe in God and love him
Or you don't believe in God and feel no emotion towards him.

I'm in that second category. In daylight, at night. In closets, on the street. Granted, it's difficult to come out of the closet because of people like you. It does indeed take bravery to face up to bigots such as yourself.

FYI, only because I do not believe in your god does not make me hate him. I do not like some of his judgmental followers! Did not Jesus say "let him that is without sin cast the first stone". I wonder why he didn't pick one up. Take your teachings to heart! Other wise don't bother preaching.
Some of my coworkers where very surprised to hear that I don't believe in a higher power. Guess I'm just to nice for everybody not to see it written on mg forehead.

If by hating god you actually mean not believing in a god...then yes I'm open with my worldview. I don't think there is anything I say online that I wouldn't say in real life. You also won't find me, either here or in real life, seeking out people to de-convert...I just try to offer my view and let others decide for themselves. Even then, there is a time and place for religious discussions...I don't think it is right to 'preach' to people.

It's only in the land of religious fanatics and loonies such as all Islamic states and the USA that sane people have to be careful about revealing their sanity.

Better yet, put it this way...

If GOD does NOT exist, then the Christians will have just lived good, moral lives and still had the true joys of life.

If GOD, however, DOES exist, what will happen to those who smite Him?

That's a risky gamble, don't ya think? ;)

Mark Twain(S Clemens) said that he and God weren't on
very good speaking terms(Clemens was upset over the death
of his sister). I sure hope he got things worked out.

I don't believe in God, but it doesn't mean I hate him.

I do strongly dislike all those who try and 'convert me' and think extremists of all religions are as bad as each other.
