Get it done by a professional for best results, because your hair has to go through a lot of color changes to get to blonde. You will either get orange hair, or burnt hair. Trust me, its to much of a change for you to do on your own.

I suggest to go to a professional. But, if you're on a low budget, and if you have colored your hair before, go to your local beauty supply store and buy a packet of bleaching powder, and get a 40 volume developer (don't forget a tinting brush), and also get the Blonde color of your choice, (I recommend Feria) and with that buy a developer with a volume no more them 20. Ask the store clerk if you're not sure. Once you get home pin your hair up and put it in sections, mix the bleach (the bleach mixture should look like icing) and apply to your unwashed hair avoiding the scalp. Process until the desired lightness is achieved. Rinse and towel dry. Now mix the color with the volume 20 developer, and apply it the same way you did with the bleach, work on your root, and apply to the rest of your hair, and genty work it like shampoo (using gloves of course) prosess for 25-30 minutes, rinse and condition, now style as you wish.

I think it would have to be bleached or maybe it's called stripped which removes all pigmentation from your hair. Then from there...you can add color. Otherwise you're just putting a lighter color on black and black trumps all. I wouldn't do it if I were you...1st of all its very costly....2ndly- It will ruin your hair maybe forever if you keep it up ! And most importantly...there is nothing more beautiful than long black oriental hair (in my book). A wise woman once told me a few secrets... one of her observences was--"There's nothing like virgin hair"--In other words...hair that has not been colored/permed/stripped/etc., just natural hair. They're will be plenty of time to dye when you get greys!! ps-her hair was so fried from overprocessing , it was just terrible!!

No, If you dye it from black it'll always come up to orange once the dye and toner fades. Also, your hair will be very damaged from constant heavy bleaching... Just be wary of that. Also, once you've done it, there's no turning back.

It's better to just lighten, not bleach to blonde.

Don't do that!!! Koreans have the most beautifull hair!!! nothing weirder than a blond girl who is obviously Oriental/Asian. 0.o now blond streaks, you could bleach. or use hydrogen peroxide untill you've reached the desired gold/blond shade on the strands(I did that on a little peice of my hair in the front untill it was this nice golden color, and some tiny streaks on top and it looks nice and fairly natural.) :)

don't do it!

Dye jobs damage hair in the long run, it will fry your hair.
Stay away from chemicals!

I am sure you have a beautiful color, you just need to enhance it.

Try conditioners on the ends to give it a lush, shiny look, trim dead ends...but don't ruin it with dyes!

Bleach it! It will destroy your hair, but if you really want it... Also try a darker shade of blonde or some light brown strands so that it looks good with your skin-color. Good luck!

it will make your hair dry and hard...

you need BLONDISSIMA from the drugstore. it is a bleach... when all your dark color has been stripped from your hair then you put a blonde dye in to make the colour of blonde.

condition your hair alot so it will stay shiny and soft.

Use a color stripper first which will make it almost white, and then use blonde hair dye. You should use shampoo, and conditioner for color treated hair so it does not get brassy colored.
