It just depends on the person. Personally, I wouldn't have anything but long hair. But my face is really round, and short hair just makes it look rounder. I think what length your hair should be really depends on what face shape you have, b/c long hair with a narrow face is baad. And if a chick is low-maintenance, she might want a short 'do that's easier to take care of. People should just pick what's cutest on them and easiest to maintain. I like my long hair b/c, yeh, it takes a little more time to maintain, but if I'm in a hurry...I can just throw it in a pony tail.

Depends on the girl and what her fashion look already is. When I was a teenager I was into the punk look so my hair was short and spiky and I'd change my color every few weeks.

Whatever compliments your looks & requires the amount of time that you're willing to deal with it....my daughters look great in many different lengths & styles they've been through over the years...

I'd say just at the shoulder blades. Not incredibly "cheap looking" long but not "little brother/cute" short either. You can put it up and do a lot with it and it won't take forever to style it either.

On women: full body, just past shoulders. Easy to manage and still has style possibilities.
